Climate change
Today a few years ago we considered strange
those days when it was cold and then hot, they were strange because they didn't
happen very often, but nowadays it's very common to hear of major changes in
temperature, at least I'm dying of heat most days... it gives me so much heat
that I really wish I had a pool to lower the temperature or an air conditioner
in my room so I don't feel like I'm cooking like a chicken in an oven. At night
I die of cold, a few days ago I slept with almost 4 blankets, I even went to
buy a scaldazono so that the nights were not so cold... This in my opinion is
one of the most visible effects of climate change, I am sure that 90% of people
have complained or mentioned some time in these years the bad temperature
changes.
There are also those effects that are more
visible to some people than to others, such as those who are engaged in snow
tourism who have seen the number of visitors decrease due to the high degree of
snow melt, as shown in the following image.
Or people engaged in agriculture, livestock
and fishing who have been equally affected by high temperatures such as, for
example, wine, and many wineries are having to replace some varieties with
others and are even being forced to move their production to higher areas. On
the other hand, soil erosion and dryness are drastically reducing agricultural
productivity
We are a month away from 2021 and we are
still far from solving this big problem, luckily we have begun to talk more
about this issue, allowing the vast majority of people have heard at least once
the term climate change and some of its effects, finally we are understanding
how dangerous this can be and that it is really necessary to do something about
it, Unfortunately there are people who believe that the problem is so big that
they cannot do anything to change it, many even believe that their damage is
insignificant, when in reality many small damages make one much bigger. We need
to start to inform ourselves more on the subject and try to help, no matter how
little contribution we all make we can improve
I really hope that before too long, more
effective measures against global warming will begin to be taken, that
governments around the world will really commit to making changes so that, even
if in many more years, we can live in a cleaner environment where people with
respiratory diseases can breathe without problems and where we can finally
restore to it at least some of the beauty that we have cruelly taken away from
the world in which we live
I hope like you that the commitment of the different countries worldwide in the coming years is in favor of the sustainability of our planet
